Day 20: Toronto - Schiphol (the Netherlands)
Thursday 17th July 1997: After we packed our suitcases we had breakfast at the Market Garden restaurant of the hotel. Then we did some great holiday shopping at Eaton's Centre. For lunch we had Japanese food at the food market. Then we had to wave Toronto goodbye and drove to the Lester B. Pierson International Airport. We returned the great rental car and left the country without any problems.
The main movie aboard was "Volcano" about the destruction of an American town by a flow of lava. We could hardly sleep…

Day 21: Schiphol - Urmond
Friday 18th July 1997: The next morning we were flying south of Iceland, west of Ireland.
We landed in Amsterdam at 7.35am. Ingrid's parents were waiting for us at the airport. We had some breakfast at the airport and around 11am we were home.
Travelled distance: about 6,250 kms.
Weather: Sunny, 30-35ºC.
