Eurovision Song Contest 1972

On Saturday 25th March 1972 the 17th Eurovision Song Contest was held in the Usher Hall in Edinburgh (Scotland), hosted by Moira Shearer.

Each participating country had 2 jury members, one younger than 25 years old and the other older than 25 years old. Both jury members gave scores to the songs of all other countries, marking them from 1 to 5. Both scores were added and so every song received from each and every other country a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 10 points.
