MADAME TUSSAUD'S "ROYALTY & EMPIRE"

The scene is set to recall a magnificant Royal occasion, Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897, when she was 78 years old. On the photo Queen Victoria (1819-1901) sits in the Royal waiting room at the fireside as her guests alight from the train outside. The Queen's dress is modelled exactly on clothes she wore for the occasion, including a diamond brooch presented by her immediate family to commemorate the Jubilee.
